1. Where are Matrimony from?
We are based in the North West of Ireland.
2. What areas of the country do you perform in?
We regularly perform in counties Donegal, Tyrone, Fermanagh and Derry, however we are available to travel across Ireland and the UK.
3. Can we see the band perform before we book?
We have videos posted on our Gallery page and our social media is always packed with snippets from our latest gigs. Give us a follow!
4. Do you set up before the meal?
Depending on travel from our base to your venue this may not always be possible, however we will always do our utmost best to accommodate you and help make your day run as smoothly as possible.
5. How much time is required to set up?
We will need 35-45mins to get our full stage set up ready for your evening.
6. Will the band play our first dance live?
We have a large repertoire of first dances and will do our best to accommodate you with the right song to kick off your evening entertainment. If we can’t, we are happy to have your chosen music preloaded and ready to go via our sound system.
7. Can we decide the set list?
Having over fifty years gigging experience between us, there aren’t many tunes we don’t know. Of course we are happy to discuss set lists with you in advance and cater for everyone, from dad dancers to jivers, we want to get everyone on the floor.....David might even give us a jig if we ask nicely!
8. Can guests get up to sing?
Of course! We are here to get the floor filled and the party started, so if you have some hidden talent within the family and they are willing and ready performers, just let us know in advance so that we can find the right time in the evening to welcome them on stage. We would also ask that we know what they would like to sing in advance, so we can do our best to help their performance be great memory of your day.
9. How long does the band play for?
The live band for your function will perform a two-hour set with the DJ performing until the end of the night.
10. How does the band dress for functions?
We’ll be suited and booted. We usually opt for black tie...we want to look our best - it is a wedding after all!!
11. What does the price include?
All of our packages include a full live band, sound and lighting system. Full details of our packages can be found here.
12. What's the payment process?
We will require a small deposit to secure your date. This will be non-refundable. We book for weddings up to two years in advance and last-minute cancellations can cause disruption to our schedule. If you need to reschedule your event, of course we will do our best to accommodate your new date. Full terms and conditions will be discussed at time of booking.
